Terre-Mer-Veille offers its services for the processing of data from mobile, fixed, or onboard passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) devices (oceanographic stations, fixed buoys, gliders, drifters, bio-logging systems, etc.). The processing and analysis aim to characterize the soundscape, generally combining:
– Annotation of acoustic events by a human expert. We also provide expertise for the identification of specific signals in the marine environment.
– The use of automatic detectors. Detector performance analyses can be conducted if a portion of the database is annotated.
– Evaluation of ambient Sound Pressure Levels (SPL, SEL).
