Scientific Consulting & Research

Terre-Mer-Veille cultivates close ties with international research to bolster its expertise in bioacoustics and underwater acoustics, serving laboratories, companies, and associations wishing to contribute to academic and international research. We offer our experience in setting up scientific projects, writing study protocols, and providing technical support for their field application.

In 2021, Terre Mer-Veille created a Franco-Canarian consortium that secured European funding from the Martera ERA-NET cofund, managed by the French National Research Agency (ANR), for the Marine Monitoring with Sailing Unmanned Vehicle (MMSUV) project. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the project aimed to develop an autonomous and environmentally friendly surface vehicle to meet the needs of maritime surveillance and the management of industrial, military, and scientific activities.

Since 2018, Yann Doh (CEO of Terre-Mer-Veille) has been the Scientific Advisor for the ABYSS Foundation (Réunion Island) and oversees all marine mammal research projects conducted by the association in the Southwest Indian Ocean (CERECAR, EDUCOCEAN, CETOCEAN).
